Breed’s Sea Animal Circus! Full

Breed’s Sea Animal Circus! has come to Extra Island! Has everyone given it a shot yet? Today, we are bringing you a guide for this quest’s highest difficulty: Breed’s Sea Animal Circus! Full!

Fighter and Powerhouse characters only!

Fighter and Powerhouse characters only!

We needed to build a PSY-Type crew to go against Breed, but this quest only allows for Fighter and Powerhouse characters, so that really limits what we have to work with. As long as we have a strong crew whose Specials work well with one another, we think we may have what it takes to beat this quest.

With Specials that complement each other, this is our Crew!

We introduce to you the crew that defeated the evil Breed!

We went with Garp the Fist for both of our Captains. Garp’s Captain Ability allows for an increase in HP, which will help a ton against all the enemies with high ATK that we meet along the way. With the combination of Garp’s Meteor Fist Shower and Mr. 2 Bon Clay Bombardier Arabesque, you’ll be able to swap all your slots to PSY which will be very effective against Breed.

Petty Officer Coby will increase the effect of your slots for two turns and Domino Impel Down Vice Head Jailer’s Sea-Prism Stone Cuffs will lock your slots in place. Use all of these characters’ Specials effectively together and the battle against Breed should be quick and easy. For our last crew member, we brought Sanji Ghost Knight to heal our HP when it’s low.

Lastly, we went with the Thousand Sunny for our ship. As we haven’t leveled it up all the way yet, it’ll only give us the same 1.2x ATK boost as our old level 8 Merry Go. This quest could be cleared with either one, but we recommend the Thousand Sunny for its Gaon Cannon which is quite useful with its ATK-all skill.

Free the Sea Animals from Breed’s Evil Control!

Let’s first focus on charging our Specials for Battle 7. There is plenty of time to do this and we won’t take too much damage on the way. With a little bit of luck and a calm composure, it should be smooth sailing.

Battle 2 through 5, Rare-Boss Octopus Boxer

Octopus Boxer from the Sea Animal Pirates can be quite a threat as he does 5,000 damage for his normal attack. Be sure to replenish your HP if you can and take him out quick. Be careful when he is near death as his attack increases to 6,666 damage and he’ll randomly bind three of your characters for two turns. Just focus on your attacks and take him out before that happens!

Watch out when he's down!

A group of Sea Lapahns will come at us in Battle 5. They’re not as much of a threat as the Octopus Boxer, but still shouldn’t be underestimated. Lower their numbers and take them out fast before they have a chance to attack you!

Breed and Kung Fu Dugong in Battle 6

We’ll meet Kung Fu Dugong, the captain of the Sea Animal Pirates, in Battle 6. Unfortunately, he is accompanied by, and under the control of, the evil Breed. Kung Fu Dugong will be crying as he throws attacks at us against his will, poor thing. Not too much of a high ATK but don’t let that fool you; he attacks every turn making him one of the hardest enemies to handle. It would be best if we could take him out as fast as possible, but Breed will greatly replenish his health after the fourth turn, so let’s take care of Breed first!

When Kung Fu Dugong nears death, he’ll use his Dugong Supreme Technique! Blackfin Fist, and raise his ATK. This is where if you mess up you’ll face certain defeat, so don’t let your guard down here!

Breed takes his power to the limit in Battle 7!

We finally made it to the final Battle with Breed. He’ll hit us with a preemptive Chain Block, capping our chain multiplier at 2.0x and use Pet-Pet Fruit’s Ultimate Power, taking our HP down by around 70% as well as sweeping all our slots with either [TND], [RCV], or [BLOCK]! We’re not off to a good start already, but let’s pull ourselves together here. Spend the first turn with normal attacks and get rid of those [BLOCK] slots!

Let's be rational about this!

Let’s be rational about this!

Consider it Game Over here if you miss because this is where things get dangerous. You’ll need to take Breed out within two turns if you want any chance of victory. First, use Garp’s Meteor Fist Shower and change your slots to [PSY] and [RCV], then Bombardier Arabesque, to change all slots to [PSY]. Raise the effect of those slots with Coby’s Shave, and lock them in place with Domino’s Sea-Prism Stone Cuffs. Congratulations, you’ve lined up your slots perfectly! Now beat down on Breed with all your might and don’t miss a hit or else!

Don’t forget the Thousand Sunny’s Gaon Cannon! Use it here to ensure your victory!

We barely made it as it was such a close fight, but we put Breed away and took our victory!

So what other crews can lead you to victory in this battle? Boosting Fighter characters ATK by 2.5x, 「Jinbe Warlord of the Sea as Captain and Friend Captain may just allow for a crew stronger than the one above. Jabra CP9’s Strongest or Rob Lucci CP9’s Strongest are wonderful candidates if you want to go for a Powerhouse crew. With Jinbe as both captains, you can go with the same strategy as the one above. For a Powerhouse crew, Garp, Marco the Phoenix, or Maelstrom Spider Squard as sub-members would grant you with quite the beefy PSY-Type crew capable of handling Breed. Try out different strategies and see what works best for you!
