Operation: Proposal! Goddess

Operation: Proposal! has come to Extra Island! Has everyone given it a shot yet? Today, we are bringing you the guide for this quest’s highest difficulty, Operation: Proposal! Goddess!

Slasher and Cerebral Characters Only!

Slasher and Cerebral Characters Only!

Slasher and Cerebral Characters Only!

Just like last time, we’re once again bringing you a Class restricted quest. Coming up with a Slasher or Cerebral only crew took some strenuous thought and finding good defenses against the enemies’ various abilities wasn’t entirely easy, but after many runs through the quest, we finally came up with a successful crew!

Our Slasher Crew

Here is the crew that had Nami solemnly sware to spend her eternity with us!

Our Slasher Crew

Our Slasher Crew

We chose Hawk Eyes Mihawk as both of our captains as their Captain Abilities are exceptional and essential to successfully clearning this quest. As Nami is a PSY-type, we went with INT-types for the rest of our crew.

There are only a few Slasher characters that can delay and while Roronoa Zoro Jack the Ripper is a good candidate for this, Mr. 3 Extra Special Candelabra is an INT-type and would fare better against the enemy.

To make this a fast and certain victory for us and while it would take some luck, we added Sir Crocodile Warlord of the Sea for his slot changing abilities, Daz Bones, Convict Mr. 1 to boost our ATK, and to greatly increase the effect of our slots we chose Mont Blanc Noland Lvneel Kingdom Explorer.

Nothings going to stop us from asking her hand in marriage!

The quest had begun and as excited as we were to try out this crew, right off the bat we were faced with a situation where we couldn’t charge our Specials like we had planned. Auto-target has you attacking the pigs first and while you could retarget manually, it’s better not to risk any heavy hits as healing is not one of this crew’s strong points!

Risky Brothers come to crash the wedding!

Risky Brothers come to crash the wedding!<

Risky Brothers come to crash the wedding!

If you’re faced off with the Risky Brothers somewhere between Battles 2 and 5, beware of their preemptive strike, “Whoopsy daisy! We Binded you!” as it will bind one of your crew members at random for two turns as well as causing your Captain Abilities to be ineffective for two turns. If you don’t have Powers equipped to defend against these, their attacks every turn will surely chip away at your HP leaving you beat and bruised. As cute as these little guys are, we’d rather not have ran into them!

Despaired and Binded!

Despaired and Binded!

The fights ahead also have some pretty mean dangers and proceeding with caution is a must. When near death, the Giant Imperial Slasher
Red Pirates
will boost their crew’s ATK by 20x, and the Group Leaders in Battle 5 will bind your crew members that they’re weak against. Don’t be surprised to see the Game Over screen here if you don’t play your cards right!

Don't underestimate these guys!

Don’t underestimate these guys!

Lola the Warthog Zombie comes to stand in our way!

Lola appears in Battle 6, dressed all in white and searching desperately for her honey Absalom.

That's a lot of Lola!

That’s a lot of Lola!

She makes her voice heard and hits you hard right off the bat with an [EMPTY] or [BLOCK] slot change. You want to take her out quick as her attacks will hit you for over 5,000 HP. It may be necessary to use Mihawk’s Black Blade Ship Cutter and prepare yourself for a beating.

Preemptive Slot Change!

Preemptive Slot Change!

If she wasn’t angry enough already, when Lola is near death she’ll let out her war cry, “Hey!!” and release her Special. Not only will she reduce your HP but your INT and PSY-types will get binded for 2 turns! 4 of our crew members were binded and we left the battle barely alive!

Battered and beat, we face-off with Nami

Battle 7

Their are a few patterns here where you’ll face off with Nami. She appeared alone for us, but lets go over the other three patterns just in-case!

4 Boss Patterns

(Nami and Lola), (Nami, Absalom, and Sanji) or just (Nami and Absalom), could also be waiting in Battle 7, making for quite an abundance of strategies and variations we will have to plan for. Lola can use her preemptive strike and Special we saw in Battle 6, and Absalom has a Hide SFX ability he’ll use as a preemptive strike. Sanji doesn’t really have a preemptive strike, but if Absalom isn’t present, Nami will Bind Specials for characters other than INT and PSY-types with her Bind STR/DEX/QCK Specials! Even if you did your best and saved up your Specials until this point, you won’t be able to use them for the next 5 turns. Ouch…

So much for Mihawk's Specials...

So much for Mihawk’s Specials…

We just barely made it with a sliver of HP left. Before we let Nami get a go at us we had to finish this! We got our extra turn with Mr. 3′s Extra Special Candelabra and changed up our slots with Crocodile’s Ground Death.

You better work those slots!

You better work those slots!

Next, we used Noland’s Botanist’s Discovery to power up our slots and Daz Bones’ Cruel Blade: Iron Guard boost our ATK for 1.25x. Now all that was left was to release a barrage of attacks against the enemy!

The rough battles had us sweating bullets but we were victorious in the end!

It was fate that brought us together!

We managed to recruit both Nami and Lola! Score!!

Why hello, ladies!

And for proof of our victory, the Pure White title!

So what other characters can lead you to victory in this battle? As an exceptional captain for Cerebral crews, Momonga Marine Vice Admiral would work great but just make sure you get him to a high enough level to prepare for the battle as his HP is quite low. Try out different strategies and see what works best for you!
