Twilight Party!

The Straw Hats are all dressed up and coming to Extra Island to Trick-or-Treat! Have you gotten in on the Halloween fun yet? This time we’re bringing you some strategy to help you get as many goodies as you can in your basket!

This is going to be a pretty tough fight, so let’s jump right into things.

Our Crew

Our crew.

Our crew.

We’ve put together a slasher-focused Crew, with Hawk-Eyes Mihawk as our Captain and Friend Captain. We want to really do some damage, so let’s include high-ATK slashers Enraged Arlong and Red-Haired Shanks, as well as Mr. 3 Extra Special Candelabra and Usopp Golden Pound to buy us some much needed time. You’re going to want most of your characters to be around level 60 for this, and boosting Mihawk’s Special level up to 3 or 4 will be a big help.

The Strategy

You’ll need to be careful as you make your way through the first four battles. Make sure to take time to charge your specials, but watch your HP! You’ll want as much as possible going into the Boss battle and you can’t afford to lose it now.

Usopp doesn’t always appear in the 5th battle, but if he does, you’ll want to try and defeat him in one go. If you only knock him down to low health, he’ll hit you with Sticky Star and randomly lock one of your crew for two turns. We got pretty unlucky here.

Ouch.

Ouch.

The same thing goes for facing Nami in the 6th battle. If you fail to make the finishing blow, she’ll steal your slots and sound effects, and risk leaving you swiping at the air for the next six turns.

This could be a problem…

Franken-Franky

Going into battle eight with Franky, it might be a good idea to start out with one of your Black Blade Ship Cutters if you’ve got them charged. Either way, before we do anything else, we’re going to go ahead and use Golden Pound to buy ourselves some much needed time.

Buying time…

Buying time…

Try to defeat Franky without taking any hit if you can, not only is he pretty powerful, but if he hits you with his Franken-Franky Centaur, then you’ll probably go into the Boss battle with Despair on one of your Captains.

Candy!

Regrettably, we’re fresh out…

Regrettably, we’re fresh out…

We arrive at the final battle at last! Luffy’s pretty dead set on getting that candy, and he’s going to give himself Immunity right off the bat, and a buff to ATK not too much later.

Black Blade Ship Cutter

Black Blade Ship Cutter

Lead off with however many Black Blade Ship Cutters you have left, and then get down to the business of wearing away at his HP and get him down to below half. Use the meat from the next turn to recover as much HP as you can, and start wearing away at Luffy again. We’ve been playing this kind of close, and broken chains will really hurt you in this battle, so concentrate on getting Perfects.

Towards the end of the battle, if you can use Arlong and Shanks’ Specials to finish him off in one go, you should be alright.

Victory!

Victory!

It took a lot of doing (and a few tries), but we manage to defeat Luffy! Plus, we even managed to Recruit some of the Halloween Straw Hats for our trouble!

We recruited Nami! And, uh, Chopper too.

Not to mention, our shiny new Title!

Got a new Title!

There are sure to be many different crew configurations you can use to beat Twilight Party, so be sure to experiment and put together your own unique crew!
